Product Overview
The Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass sleeve has the ability to withstand high temperatures, which is perfect for heavy duty application usages. A fiberglass cloth substrate is woven inside the tube and coated with the silicone rubber either on one side or both sides. By combining these two products, they produce an excellent high dielectric strength and tear resistance which guarantees a secure and prolonged life. The material is flexible and in a braided form. Any burrs and sharp edges of the silicone fiberglass sleeve is removed or cleaned off. Since the silicone fiberglass is a delicate and a fine material, they are easy to push back and shaped over any components, connections or cables. Any applications using the silicone fiberglass sleeve can be shielded from heat, chemicals and abrasion. It has high chemical resistance and extremely abrasion resistance for a wiring systems. The diameter of the sleeve may vary from 0.258 to 0.278 inches. The temperature ranges between -70 to 200° C. Silicone rubber fiberglass material is a flame retardant and resistant to water, oil, acid and alkalines.
