Product Overview
The Cable DB25M to DB9F is a premium AT Modem cable that has DB25 Male to DB9 Female connectors and is a 50 feet long shielded cable. The on-molded assembly with removable hoods allows for easy repining. It also features a foil shield and drain wire for noisy environments. The cable assembly is a light weight 9-pin DB-Sub connector plug at one end and 9-pin DB-Sub receptacle at the other end. The receptacle is provided with female type crimp contacts and plug is provided with male type crimp contacts. This cable is available in different lengths. The conductor material used is solid copper, which has excellent conductive properties and shielding material is aluminum foil. The nine conductor cable has different wire sizes with four conductor 28 AWG, three conductors of 20 AWG and two conductors of 17 AWG. The jacket material insulation Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is a high quality material having high mechanical and tensile strength, which makes it well suited for demanding applications. The cable assembly offers outstanding flexibility for easier handling.
