Product Overview
The Rubber Washer is a washer that has a centrally located hole that allows a fastener to pass through easily onto other side. It is used to protect the surface from damage by offering space between the surface and fastener. It is also used to smooth out uneven surfaces before a fastener is inserted into the surface. This washer is made up of silicone rubber which has good flexibility compared to all other elastomers. Silicone rubber is an inert material, and hence does not react with chemicals. Due to this property, silicone rubber washers are safe to use in many medical applications. They are highly reliable, durable and efficient. They prevent damage to the surface of the object being fastened. They are hard enough that they are not damaged by any external forces and provide a long lasting life. The abrasion resistant property prevents them from being damaged on contacting with other surfaces.
