Product Overview
The Acquisition System Controller Bus Interface Unit (ASCBIU) Board is used in X-ray machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. It provides the CPU of the Acquisition System Controller (ASC) with four primary functions, namely GE BUS communication link (ARCNET), battery backed real-time clock, 64k of battery backed RAM and diagnostic switches & displays. The board is comprised of multibus interface, address decode, data bus, diagnostic switch ports, diagnostic status Hex displays, DC regulator, self-actuating power down switch and power fail circuitry for RAM. It can be found in the KERNEL module on the far right of the module with the front panel assembly on its right. The product is free from burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash marks. The GE product is an innovation and technology which fits well into versatile customer needs. The product is securely packaged inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details. It is widely being used in machines like Perkins EZ PIC Workstation, Fuji 9501 Chest System, Fuji FCR 9501, Advantx LC LP+ and other similar devices.
