Product Overview
The ball valve is a form of quarter-turn valve which uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball to control flow through it. It is open when the ball's hole is in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by the valve handle. The handle lies flat in alignment with the flow when open and perpendicular to it when closed. The shut position 1/4 turn could be in either clockwise or counterclockwise direction. This cryogen ball valve comes with stem without extension. This valve has brass body with stainless steel stem and ball with cryogenic seals. The brass body of the ball valve offers high strength, good dimensional stability and resistance to corrosion. This dimensionally stable valve can be easily installed on the required device using the four mounting holes. This ball valve is used in the plumbing assembly of GE's Signa HD 1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems.
