Product Overview
The Drive Gear Snap Assembly is a part of the Z mechanism. The Z mechanism can be manually repositioned in the event the drive gear is disconnected or has failed or if the power is turned off. The top console can drop unexpectedly when the mechanism is released. Move the handle a few millimeters to the right side to release the Z mechanism and at the same time move the top console up or down as required. In order to install it, mount the drive gear assembly and fasten it with the four screws and connect the cable to the XYZ control box. The cable must be routed under the main cable ground clamp. Power up the ultrasound system and verify that XYZ is functioning as intended and then power it down in order to install the top, left and right side cover. In order to remove it, remove the main cable ground clamp and disconnect the motor cable from the xyz control box. Then unscrew and remove the four fixing screws to pull the unit away.
