Product Overview
This 50 feet ethernet cable assembly comprises of RJ45 connectors at either ends. Registered jack-45 (RJ45) is an eight-wire connector used to connect computers on local area networks. RJ-45 is easy to plug in and remove with no specialist IT skills being required. A clip or lug on the back of the jack simply folds down when the connection is made and then sits up holding the jack firmly in place. This cable exceeds the performance requirements of the CAT5e (Category 5 Enhanced) Ethernet network cable standard. CAT5e cables can support Gigabit Ethernet speeds of up to 1000 Mbps and are backward compatible with Fast Ethernet networks for versatility and also reduce signal interference.
