Product Overview
The Transverse Encoder/Idler Maestro Assembly consists of a bearing block, encoder with harness, idler and fasteners. The encoder block further consists of three parts; the base, shaft and the bearing. The encoder used is an incremental type of encoder. An incremental optical encoder is a linear or rotary electromechanical device that has two output signals which produce a pulse when the device is moved. The encoder houses an integral bearing set and an innovative flexible mounting system which are tolerant to axial misalignment or radial shaft runout. The bearing block, shaft and idler are made from high grade materials with good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the components. All the parts in the assembly are free from any burrs and sharp edges which enhances the safety aspect of the components. The high dimensional accuracy ensures perfect fit of the parts as per the requirement. The bearing used in the assembly has an excellent fatigue life. The fasteners are made from high grade materials ensuring a high proof load capacity.
